Online Writing Lab: A very good resource for information on how to create many business documents. Also useful are the style guides for a variety of communications and the resources for writing documents for a specific readership.

Wordnet: A resource hosted and designed by Princeton University (US), Wordnet is a massive database of English words and their synonyms.

Babelfish: A very useful tool for ‘quick and dirty’ translations from and to many different languages. While not recommended for translating important information for dissemination, it’s nonetheless a useful resource.

Wordspy: Both fun and useful, Wordspy is the best source on the internet for the new words and phrases that creep into English every day.
